Two directions. One school of craftsmen.

We work with buildings that have stood for centuries, and we build ones that should last as long. The same people answer for the brick in a madrasa and for the frame of a new house.

How we restore

Every tile in its place.

A few tiles are missing from the pattern. Put them back yourself: this is how carefully we work on every monument.

Historic materials

Fired brick, ganch, lime mortar, handmade majolica. We do not use cement on the visible parts of a monument.

Historic methods

Before we change anything, we study it: how it was laid, what held it together, what the pattern was. We restore, we do not reinvent.

Work by agreement

We document and agree every stage. You and the supervising authorities can see what was done and why.

How we work

Clear at every step.

The most common complaints about builders: missed deadlines, a growing estimate and silence after the advance payment. We set up our work so none of this happens.

  1. Site visit and survey

    We come to the site, take measurements and photograph its condition. For a monument we prepare a detailed photo record.

  2. Estimate and a contract with deadlines

    We prepare the estimate before work begins. The contract sets out the stages and the deadline for each.

  3. Work with photo reports

    We send a photo report for every stage. Hidden works are shown to you before they are covered up.

  4. Handover and warranty

    We hand over the building with its documents. The warranty on the works is written into the contract.

What people ask most.

Will you meet the deadlines?

We write the deadline of every stage into the contract. You get a photo report for each stage and see where the work stands.

Will the estimate grow along the way?

We prepare the estimate after the survey, before work begins. If something hidden turns up during the work, such as a crack in a vault or a void in the masonry, we first show it to you in photos and price it separately. The estimate does not change without your consent.

What materials do you use on monuments?

The same ones the old masters used: fired brick, ganch, lime mortar and handmade majolica. Modern materials only where they cannot be seen and do not harm the monument.

Do you give a warranty?

Yes. The warranty period for each type of work is written into the contract.
